Nuke protesters, including Sen. Kefalas, reunite 30 years after arrests in train blockade




The 'Fort Collins Peace Blockade' made national news in 1983 during the height of the Cold War.

About 50 people were at the group’s 30th anniversary reunion Saturday afternoon at Avogadro’s Number Restaurant in Fort Collins. A slideshow on the wall illustrated the March 19, 1983, peaceful protest on snowy streets with Fort Collins police making the arrests. The event during the height of the Cold War received national media attention.
