More signs of spring...

Red wing blackbirds have arrived in the march claiming territory. Meanwhile, Anne is stuck in New York airports, yes airports, trying to get home.

Signs of Spring

Lots more critters are out on the not-as-frozen lake these days.  The sandhill cranes arrived yesterday and are starting their nesting process - calling, calling, calling.  The river has opened up along its channel -- that open water has drawn geese, ducks and an eagle. During a sunset last week, two bucks waked out along the ice to the open water for a 'sundowner'.
